A total of 2,098,082 people visited the Malaga airport in the first three months of the year; 2,077,709 of this people used commercial flights which mean an increase of 7.3 percent. More than 557,000 travelled between Spanish cities (+4.3 percent) and over a million and a half did on international flights (+8.4 percent).
International operations just grew a 8.1 percent in the first three months of the year, while the number of national movements grew 1.8 percent over the same period, as reported by Spanish Airports and Air Navigation (Aena) in a statement.
Month of March
